Customer Service and Telesales Team Leader

Did you know that more than one billion people in South and East Asia lack access to a bank account? For many, this makes it difficult to secure loans and other services, because they don't have traditional financial records like credit scores.

Jeff is a financial super app that measures creditworthiness using alternative data. Our goal is to unlock financial services for the underbanked across Southeast Asia - and eventually globally.

Launched in Vietnam as its first market in 2020, Jeff App has quickly grown into an almost 40 people team across 7 countries. We've also raised $3m in seed-stage investments and expanded to 3 ASEAN markets (and counting). More than 3M people have been serviced and more than 30M products have been compared - and we've just begun!

But we can't do this alone.

We're looking for a Customer Service and Telesales Team Leader to manage a high-performing team of 5-10 people. The role involves optimising sales processes using predictive and power dialer systems, improving team performance, and meeting sales targets. Strong communication skills and a results-oriented mindset are essential.

You will:

  • Build a high-performing telesales team
  • Lead customer service specialists and improve team's performance
  • Improve telesales scripts to reach sales targets
  • Gather feedback and report it to direct manager
  • Go the extra mile to meet sales goals
  • Improve customer satisfaction by delivering great customer service
  • Take and process orders in an accurate manner


You have:

  • Proven experience in Customer Service and Telesales
  • 2+ years of experience working as Customer Service/Telesales Team Lead managing at least 5 people
  • Experience with Call center systems
  • Experience with Predictive dialer, Robo-dialer
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Additionally, it would be nice if you have:

  • Experience working in FinTech, eCommerce, Travel or Insurance space
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack, Google workspace
